I arrived at Lort Smith with a medical issue that required long-term treatment. My carer was not in a position to cover the treatment or ongoing needs so I was surrendered.

I have spent seven weeks recovering and I am now on the lookout for a new family! Please note that I will be a foster to adopt until my final vet check in mid-October.

I love nothing more than cuddles with my human friends, massages and belly rubs!

I would love to go to an active home where my new family can provide me with lots of enrichment and take me on daily strolls, so I check out the sights and smells of my neighbourhood.

I can be rehomed with another dog, but I would prefer that they are calm and on the smaller side. I am still getting used to being around other dogs and can be nervous around medium-large sized dogs.

Ideally I'd like a home where someone is home more often than not, or can take me to work with them. I get lonely on my own. A family that will help me build my confidence in new environments and other dogs would be super.

I will need a home that has high and secure fencing with a big yard for me to run around and play in.

Although I am very gentle and calm most of the time, I can sometimes get super excited in my play, so a home with older children (8+) would be best for me, as I would hate to unintentionally hurt anybody. I do absolutely adore all children though.
