About Bronx - 47594
Our gorgeous boy Bronxie came to GAWS as a stray, in terrible shape - skinny and with bad skin. He's spent quite a while in foster getting some TLC, and now it's time for him to find his forever family!
Bronx is a 9 1/2 year old staffy who simply adores every human he meets! So much so that he's prone to being a bit of a sook when he's left out of the fun. He will be best suited to a home with no children under ten as he can get a little bit rude when he's trying to get that affection he craves! Despite his age, Bronx is full of life! He LOVES to play fetch, go for walks, and just chill out with his humans. He has a good foundation of training - he knows sit, fetch, drop, shake, and has excellent recall. He's also toilet trained and an all round good doggo!
When he came to the shelter, it was pretty clear that Bronx hadn't really socialised with other dogs much in his past life. His manners have been polished a bit in foster, however he would prefer to be the only dog in the home so he can hog ALL the cuddles! Silly Bronxie is not a fan of cats either, so he will need a home without those pesky felines!
Bronx does have some health issues, so we're looking for a very special person who can commit to his high quality skin care diet, and regular vet check ups. His months in foster care have turned him into a whole new dog, and we can't wait to see how he keeps on improving with his forever people! This handsome fella is sure to win some hearts (just like he has with our staff) - please come in to GAWS to visit him. He's available for adoption right now, and he can't wait to meet you!
