About Sam DL2268
If you are looking for a very affectionate dog, then Sam is the boy for you.
He might be 13 years young, but he has plenty of spark and energy for his age. He loves nothing more than a good walk on his lead. You just need to pick up his lead and he is waiting at the door for you to go. He also enjoys a good ball game.
Sam loves all dogs he meets, big or small, and he doesn’t mind cats either. He prefers a home where someone is home most of the time, as he finds it a bit overwhelming if his human family are not there to make him feel secure.
Sam is friendly with children, however he does have some sensitive spots he doesn't like touched, so won't be suited to young kids. He also loves to do a lot of sleeping during the day. Whenever you sit down, Sam loves to curl up on your lap for a good sleep and cuddle.
If you have the perfect retirement home for a gorgeous little man, email DFL today to enquire about Sam!
Medical notes
When Sam arrived, his coat was in a shockingly matted state (see photo) with an infected ear and requiring a dental. It has left his skin and coat sore and patchy, so he will need some TLC as he recovers, and regular grooming to ensure it never happens again.
