""Little Louey is a super little dog. He loves people, loves to play and has learnt to sit and comes when called. He's still getting used to the lead and can panic when it tightens but is getting better each day. He has become my little shadow and follows me absolutely everywhere. Good with other dogs and ignores our cat. He doesn't take any notice of the chooks through the fence. He learnt how to use the dog door in a flash and has not had a single accident inside. He sleeps through the night (on my recliner). He is a great little alarm dog.

He's not overly active, and just trots around after me all day. He's not demanding, and just curls up to sleep when I stop. He likes to play with toys and carry around soft toys. Now that he is used to me coming and going he doesn't cry anymore when I leave, but I haven't left him at home without the other dogs. I think he just curls up on my recliner 'til I get home.

Louey would make a great mate for a teenager, adult or retired couple. He weighs about 6kg. Louey loves children, but isn't really suited to living with them as they can't tell when he's had enough and needs some space. At the moment, he's just new in care and resource guards with favourite treats but his carer is making great progress with positive feedback training by hand feeding him and treat swapping.
