About Cinders
Hey there, Life Saver!! My name is Cinderella. Just like the famous 1950s Walt Disney cartoon that taught the World about hope & that kindness produces rewards beyond imagination - I am searching for my happily-ever-after permanent home. I am definitely full of hope that kindness will be on the menu with lots of hugs & kisses thrown in for good measure.
My friends call me ""Cinders"" & I was one of a litter of seven. We are ALL very friendly, loving, sweet puppies. I am still young so am a beautiful blank canvas who will fit in to any family dynamic or environment as long as my new family with take the time to train me & teach me how to be a good dog. I am currently fostered with my human foster parents & a 2 year old canine brother. He's a very serious older brother but he tolerates my puppy fervour really well.
My human foster Mummy says I'm very loving & loyal. I'm a clever girl, very food orientated & I have already learned to ""sit"" & ""drop"" very quickly. I'm very cruisey - inside or outside, I don't mind. I do have a lovely dog bed inside but I prefer to sleep on the floor (hence, Cinderella!).
I am house trained & my recall is good. I sometimes bark at new dogs down at the park but this should be better once I'm exposed more & more dog social situations - I can be wary of strangers & scared of getting in to cars - I just need time & patience.
I have very long, super model legs so I do like to run around at the park & the beach. I am instantly your BFF, it doesn't take me long to trust you. I am very affectionate & love company. I'm told I really love my favourite humans, often sitting at their feet & waiting to be told what the plan for the day is! Unlike the original Cinders, I am not that good at housework! However, I'm a good girl & I don't chew or dig or make much mess - which is excellent for a puppy!
A gorgeous black and white colour, I have puppy soft fur & I love to be cuddled.""Be kind, have courage & always believe in a little magic"" (Cinderella, 2015).
If you think you have what it takes to be my happily-ever-after - don't hesitate ADOPT A PRINCESS TODAY!
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
