Bilby is great with Kids , Cats and other dogs 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Bilby is a tiny 3.4kg love bug who wants nothing more than to be where the action is and love on his humans. He is an inside/outside dog and due to his size needs to sleep inside to keep warm, also coats are a must in winter (he likes clothes!)
He came into rescue with no training whatsoever and a really poor diet. In a very short time he has been house trained (only one accident), trained on leash with harness, will come back when off leash (using a squeaker to train still), he plays fetch, will beg, is now good at waiting for food, but we’re still working on how to sit. He will only eat his dry food mixed with pet mince so there is a little prep required, but his 24/7 waggily tail and happy nature makes it all worthwhile.
Bilby is such a joyous little man, he gets easily excited and would really benefit from some obedience training which would also help with leash training and sitting.
He has a really sweet temperament, would be happy with pats and cuddles all day every day, but has been fine to play with his squeaky toys and furry foster sister while his foster mum is at work. He enjoys daily walks and is an explorer at heart.
Bilby is such a wonderful soul, he would suit being a companion dog or a family pet if there is plenty of time for him as he needs a lot of love and attention. He would not suit a home where he is alone during the day if he doesn’t have daily walks as he has a lot of energy for a little guy.
