About Jet
Met Jet! She's a lovable bundle of happiness and fun, and she really can't wait to meet you.
Jet is a 2-year old greyhound crossbreed and is loving life to its fullest. Not quite out of her 'puppy' stage, Jet loves to play and explore, and most of all - she wants ALL of the pats you have to give. Dear little Jet was abandoned at the pound and we feel very lucky we were able to rescue her in time. She has lapped up life in her foster home from the second she arrived and now wants to know if you could be her perfect forever home?
Being a crossbreed, Jet has a bit more energy than your average greyhound couch potato and although she likes a good nap (who doesn't?) a home with a bit of outdoor space to spin a few zoomies and have a play would be ideal. She currently lives with two greyhound foster siblings and gets along with them well. However, she is still learning her boundaries with personal space (doggy and human) and can be pushy for attention. For this reason, we recommend any greyhound siblings are calm and patient pups who aren't likely to be bothered while Jet continues to brush up on her manners.
Jet has been home alone (with her canine siblings and solo) for up to 7 hours with no signs of anxiety. But she does love her humans to be around and would love to go to a home where she has company more often than not. Being a younger dog, and a smart cookie at that, someone who wants to continue training and games with her would be ideal. She walks nicely on lead and getting to sniff and explore on walks is a favourite activity.
Although Jet loves everybody and is always friendly, she can be a bit too enthusiastic and forget her size, so she would not be suited to living with small children or the elderly (just in case she accidentally knocked them over).
If your heart and home has room for the energy and love Jet has to give, and you think she might be your perfect match, please send us an email at: adopt@amazinggreys.com.au.
PLEASE NOTE: Jet hasn't had any interaction with small dogs and is not cat-friendly, so please no applications for forever homes with resident dogs smaller than a Staffy or with cats (or other small animals).
