About Purush Thorvald
Purush Thorvald likes the simple things in life. Walks, affection and the name Frank. That’s right Frank. He has decided Purush Thorvald is a bit too fancy schmancy for his liking and will only respond when he is called “Frank”. It is most likely we will need to officially make that his first name soon - Frank Purush Thorvald, that might be the right compromise. And as for the name he came to us with – Purh – well forget that!!
Frank is very sweet and cuddly. He will sit beside you for pats and once you stop he will do all he can to get you to continue; be it reach out with his paw or get up and roll on you. He loves your company and as you go about your day you will be accompanied by the adorable pitter patter of his little paws. Frank is a very chilled dog in the house, he mostly sleeps during the day.
Frank gets really excited about his walks – he will jump and bark until you get strolling with him. He’s a calm boy but will bark at people and dogs walking past his house if he can see them. He is house trained and we are working with him as he gets the hang of recall, walking on lead and other basic commands. He will now sit if you tempt him with a treat.
At this stage, Frank's ideal home will be with people who are willing to put some time into training him. A home with humans or another doggie friend for company through the day would be great for this amazing little dog.
Just look at that smiling doggy face. How can you say no!

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
