About Wilma

Age: 12 months
Sex: Female
Dog Friendly: Yes
Child Friendly: Yes - kids over 10 years
Cat Friendly: No
Toilet Trained: In training
Location: Palm Beach, QLD
Wilma would is best suited to a calm home, preferably with older children. She has been around younger children, and will roll over for a gentle belly rub. She can be very shy and timid and needs some time and space to gain confidence with people and new environments.
When she is feeling comfortable she loves to cuddle up with her human or steal a nice belly rub. She has shown to be a very happy and gentle dog.
Wilma needs work on leash, as she gets distracted with everything she can stop and smell. However, is great off leash in a secure park or beach area. She loves to run and bounce around, then will return when called. Good with all dogs, will approach with caution but keen to play.
We have loved our time with this special girl!
Medical notes
Wilma has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ C5 Vaccination
~ Microchipped
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
~ Heartworm Tested & Treated
Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
