Hi, my name Is Shelley and I am looking for my perfect home. I am a 4 year old Greyhound and I have hung up my racing boots and am ready to find a family who I can call my very own.

I won't check your pedigree or credit score, I'm only interested in one thing about you - the size of your heart and if there is room in there for a dog like me, then I think it's the perfect size!

I can be a little quiet when I first meet new people, but once I get to know you I am very excited to see you and I just love to spend time with my human friends.

Although I do not need to be taken out for long runs or even extra long walks, but I do like to have a stroll around the neighbourhood to check out all of the sights. I promise I would never dream of pulling on the lead, I am happy to trot along beside you at whatever pace you decide. After a walk I am happy to curl up on the lounge and just spend time with you. Did I mention I am super affectionate? Well I am! I adore cuddles and pats and I love to love you.

I love to make new doggy friends and I think that every kind of dog is a good kind to be friends with. I don't mind being around cats, I am not at all interested in them and I think if you introduced me to your cat properly (the girls at the facility can tell you how), then I think we would get along fine.

It's a little embarrassing to say, but I met the chicken at the facility and I was a little scared of her! I started at the rabbits - I wasn't sure if they were going to bite me!

I don't mind if you need to leave me alone for a while through the day while you are off at work - but please promise I will have lots of attention when you get home. I am not scared of loud noises, but sometimes those fireworks and thunder can be super loud and the facility folk think it would be a good idea if I was allowed to come inside with you when this is happening. Please don't worry, I am toilet trained and would never think of having an "accident" inside.

Shelley is a such a happy girl and an absolute delight and would make a super loyal companion for the right family. She is a stunning lady who would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Shelley will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.

This incredibly beautiful young gal will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.

Shelley's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. Shelley is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.
