About Ellie
Not one who likes to go on long runs or huge hikes, but would still love the companionship and joy of owning a doggo? Then Ellie could be just the girl for you. A 2 year old Greyhound, Ellie is looking forward to finding her forever home.
Ellie is a big softy who just loves to cuddle. A common misconception is that Greyhounds need a lot of exercise - when in fact they are the perfect lounge lizards, who generally only need a leisurely walk each day. Ellie is no exception...... While she does enjoy being out for a walk exploring the sites and sounds around her, she is also very content to follow you around while you potter in the garden or snuggle up for a movie.
She does enjoy making new friends and she gets along well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. While she doesn't mind the company of cats, and could be rehomed after a proper introduction with a cat in residence, it would be best if Ellie was not rehomed with pocket pets.
Ellie has a gentle personality and is quite the sook when it comes to lapping up your attention ... and how could anyone resist those ears! She loves to please people and is a very smart girl, which should make further training a breeze. To help with this training, we have included 3 x free training lessons in her adoption fee with thanks to Wyong Dog Training.
While Ellie shows no signs of food aggression or seperation anxiety, she is startled by loud noises and would need to be allowed inside during thunder storms and fireworks where she knows she is safe.
Ellie is a such a happy girl and an absolute delight and would make a super loyal companion for the right family. She is a stunning lady who would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Ellie will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly beautiful young gal will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Ellie's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. Ellie is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out our Expression of Interest Form here:
https://form.jotform.co/92231142675857
This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Alternatively, you are welcome to phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
