Nanook

If you have always loved the Husky breed but were unsure if your home would be suitable then our lovely gentleman Nanook might just be the right fit for your home.

Nanook is a happy easy going dog once he has had time to get to know you, he can be quite playful at times but generally he is a low energy husky who would thrive in a home where he can hang out inside with his human once he has had his daily walk.

As with all huskies we would recommend 6ft fencing to keep him safely in his yard however he has not shown any interest in exploring by himself in the time he has been with us.

Due to his early arthritis and hip dysplasia, calm dogs and older children are recommended so that he does not put too much strain in these areas and overuse them.

Behaviour Notes: May guard very high value treats from other dogs. Anxiety around thunderstorms, fireworks, loud noises and separation.
Medical Notes: Mild dysplasia in left hip, mild early stage arthritis in right rear knee. Has been seeing the Physio with great improvement.
House Trained: Yes, all the time.
