Midnight Joins PHC Today....

After several phone calls alerting us to the sad state of this pup, we have taken him into care this morning..... He is a gorgeous little puppy who is gentle and placid and is quite content to receive and give love...

At the moment he is looking somewhat skeletal but this will change very quickly once he is given high quality puppy food. He was vaccinated and wormed this morning and has ongoing treatment for Coccydia - a nasty intestinal parasite. We have called him Midnight because of his rich black coat... However his feet are a beautiful yellow-gold brindle just like moonbeams.

Midnight reminds me so much of one of my favourite foster dogs and that was Columbo - thought to be a Ridge X Dane. Columbo's colours and facial expression was almost identical and if this boy IS from the same parents he will be a VERY BIG FELLOW... Columbo's heart matches his size and last I heard he was on a farm watching over Ondre's partner, Kate, and their new baby with gentle tenderness while Ondre was at work....
