About Fred
Fred is approximately 8 months old.
He is a mixed breed of unknown origin. But it may be likely he is a wolfy mix.
Fred, like most puppies has spurts of boundless energy in between having a good nap on his back while snoring his head off.
Fred is learning not to jump up on you when excited (ongoing).
Fred has picked up quite quickly waiting to be told to eat before he dives in to his meals with great gusto.
Fred is crate trained. ...He is still learning to hold on at night with the occasional accident.
Fred has met all other dogs very nicely.
Fred would do well in a household with another older dog that can put up with his large puppy antics.
Fred has displayed some separation anxiety. So would be best placed with a family with an older dog, or a family who are at home majority of the day. OR a family that can take time off to ease him gently into only dog life.
Fred currently lives with cats and he is (mostly) respectful of them and their space.
All in all - Fred is a lovely, goofy, gangly young man who will do well with a family that is willing to continue his socialisation and training.
