Say hi to Jay, a placid, quiet, relaxed, sweet natured golden oldie!

This gorgeous 12 yr old girl is in need of a home where she can relax and dream of days gone by.

Jay loves being with her humans but is quite happy to laze around quietly until her family comes home. She is wonderful with adults and kids of all ages and doesn't mind being disturbed from her rest when cuddles and pats come her way. She has a cat as a companion and is great with other dogs, and doesn't react when they are barking at her. Jay walks well on a lead, is good with recalls, and loves going for short walks to check out what has been happening in her neighbourhood and also enjoys trips in the car. She will play her version of fetch which is you throw the ball...you fetch the ball, as she looks at you with a whimsical espression on her face.

She would make someone a wonderful quiet companion and loves to be inside at night snuggled on her bed. Jay is still very healthy for her age but like many older humans is getting a bit slower getting up. She isn't on any medications and has had a recent vet check to ensure she has no hidden health problems. Jay is terrified of thunderstorms but settles when inside away from that ' scary noise' where she feels secure.

History: Jay has come into our care as her family are relocating to NZ later this year and feel she wouldn't cope with the trip or new location as she is a Kalgoorlie girl.

She is sterilised, upto date with vaccinations, microchipped and lifetime registered with council.
We aren't asking for an adoption fee but normal adoption procedures are still in place. Our aim is to find Jay a home where she can enjoy her senior years in a home filled with love and comfort.
