About Rory 💙
Introducing Rory, another of our Staffy mix litter....he's relaxed and easy going and will fit in just about anywhere 💕
He is currently in care with 2 of his siblings, Roxy & Rosa, 2 host dogs & young children. Although he loves to rumble and play with his siblings, it's obvious that he would absolutely love a human to call his own. Rory is happy to follow the crowd and will very much just go with the flow. If you wanted to go for walk or play ball, then so would Rory....but if you wanted to chill out and watch a movie, then he would settle down next to you and have a nap. He would be great with kids who are respectful of animals.
Rory sleeps soundly through the night, curled up with his siblings. Toilet training has been somewhat challenging, but with persistence and ongoing training in his new home, he would have this mastered in no time. He is extremely responsive to training and rewards. His food motivation is high, which makes training an easy task.
We would love to see Rory find a home where he had the company and guidance of another dog, but he would also cope well as an only dog as long as he had the company of his humans. He would love nothing more than to follow you around the house and yard all day long if given the chance. Rory will need plenty of socialisation as a pup and into adolescence, as well as training, so he grows up to be a well mannered and socialised adult.
At this stage, we think Rory will be a medium to large size when fully grown, so you would need to be prepared for this. He adapts well to new surroundings and plays well with other dogs. Rory is quite the entertainer and entertains himself and his siblings the whole day through. He will need a medium to large size yard and a home where he will be treated as part of the family 👨👨👧👧🐕🐕
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Rory will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Rory is booked in for Desex on Tuesday 1st October and will be available to take home from 3rd October. He is located in Mardi on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
