Barkley is an orange roan cocker spaniel. He’s a testament to the breed - he’s gentle, cuddly, loving and very clingy. His favourite activities are sleeping across your lap and following you about the house.

Not much fazes him. He’s fine with kids, dogs and in the past he has lived with a cat (though dog-savvy cats only, as he will chase if they run). No chickens, birds or livestock. He is now house trained, crate trained, knows sit and shake.

Barkley craves human company so is only looking for someone home very often and he will also need doggy company for those times his humans can’t always be around. If left alone he will bark and howl for his humans.

He has been an absolute delight to have around, he’s so well behaved and placid that you sometimes forget he’s even in the room. He will take himself off to his crate when his exuberant foster fur brother is pestering him or he can’t get to a human lap.

Barkley will require regular grooming to keep his soft, smooth coat looking beautiful.
Please note - Cocker Spaniels are often mistaken for a non-shedding/low allergy breed however they do shed.
