Kowanyama Family Looking Good!!!

The little family, which arrived on PHC's doorstep just over a month ago in a frightful condition, are looking so much healthier... All the parasites are gone, they have beaten the mange which infected their skin and their fur has totally grown back and they are chunky little babies now.

They are dear little puppies who are still a bit frightened by new situations or people but they are improving all the time. I have named them after sweets (or lollies) as they are the sweetest and gentlest pups... I haven't seen such a quiet and well behaved litter of puppies for a long time... I think they are just so grateful to have left the itching and discomfort behind them and look forward to food in plentiful supply.

Whilst their mum is quite small we now think the pups will be the size of a cattle dog with the exception of Jellybean who is much smaller.... In fact the pups have the markings typical of red cattle dogs or kelpies - once again except for Jellybean who is mainly a bluey.
