About Bowie ๐ถ
Introducing Bowie (or Bo Bo), another of our Staffy mix litter....This boy is super sweet, gentle and great with young kids ๐
He is currently in care with 2 of his siblings, Emme & Jessie, 1 host dog & a young child. Although he loves to rumble and play with his siblings (especially Emme), so another doggie friend in his forever home would be perfect. Bowie is highly food motivated, so training him and teaching him new tricks would be super easy. This happy little boy is calm around the toddler of the house, and learnt very quickly not to jump up. He would be great with kids who are respectful of animals and loves to snuggle with his humans.
Bowie sleeps soundly through the night, curled up with his siblings. Toilet training is well underway, so with persistance and ongoing training in his new home, he will have this perfected in no time. Bowie has learnt to sit and and is currently learning to wait for his food.
We would love to see Bowie find a home where he had the company and guidance of another dog, but he would also cope quite well as an only dog as long as he had the company of his humans. Bowie loves to play with his siblings and toys and exploring the garden. He's just a bucket of love with endless cuddles and kisses to give. Bowie will need plenty of socialisation as a pup and into adolescence, as well as training, so he grows up to be a well mannered and socialised adult.
At this stage, we think Bowie will be a medium to large size when fully grown, so you would need to be prepared for this. He has a very inquisitive mind and will utilise just about anything he can find as toys. Bowie is quite the entertainer and entertains himself and his siblings the whole day through. He will need a medium to large size yard and a home where he will be treated as part of the family ๐จโ๐จโ๐งโ๐ง๐๐
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Bowie will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as โsitโ, โdropโ, โstayโ, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppyโs not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Bowie is booked in for Desex on Wednesday 25th September and will be available to take home once he recovers (within a couple of days). He is located in Springfield on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
