About Peta ~ tabby kitten (on trial 4/10/19)
Peta is one of four kittens from our Peter Pan litter. Peta is a chunky silver tabby girl with a sweet white face. She is the hungriest and bravest of her siblings but we love her girl power. Peta was initially thought to be a boy (Peter) so when it became apparent she was a girl we thought this robust baby suited the gender-neutral name so stuck with Peta.
Peta’s mum, Nana, was dumped in a Newcastle hospital car park a couple of weeks before she gave birth. The lovely staff at the hospital arranged for her to come into care with us so she could have her babies in a safe, warm and clean environment.
Peta has grown to be a very playful little girl who prioritises food over everything. While the rest of her siblings are still getting used to the other animals in their foster home, Peta is very brave and nothing phases her. This adventurous little baby would thrive in a busy household.
Peta will be available for adoption to an indoor only home from the 4th October and her adoption fee is $250. This little girl will make someone very happy. For more information or to meet Peta please contact her foster carer Sarah on sarahkdebenham@gmail.com
Peta is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW. Her first vaccination and microchip will be complete and the adoption fee includes the cost of desexing and the final vaccination. As Peta is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 3-4 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
