Sammy is an easy going boy who loves rolling around in the grass, having a tummy tickle and fetching his ball - although we are still working on the bit where he brings it back to you.
He of course, loves his walks, is well behaved on a lead and shows very little interest in other dogs, even if they come up to give him a friendly sniff. He currently lives with an older labrador and the two of them are happy to be walked together.
Sammy enjoys his food - as he is a little on the skinny side, he eats whatever is put in front of him, but is particularly partial to sardines and chicken. He is working on gaining a little bit of weight.
Sammy is equally happy inside or outside the house, and can amuse himself quite well with his balls and toys, although he is always happy to see you and have a cuddle. Inside the house he likes to find a comfortable spot on the rug and rest. He is toilet trained and sleeps well through the night.
Sammy has settled in well with his foster family where there are 3 older children and many other people coming in and out the house.
All our foster dogs are protected from fleas & ticks with NexGard®, kindly donated by Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health.
