About Squibby
Squibby is an 8 month old cat that was returned to our refuge when his adopted family had to unexpectedly return overseas. Poor Squibby was most upset and confused. But now, after spending time with our amazing foster carer, he's ready for a new home.
Squibby will follow you around the house or just sit quietly all day. He loves special attention and probably should be the only cat in the household although he has become quite used to having the foster carer's dogs around.
He's really intelligent and the way that he looks at you makes you think he's about to start speaking like a human! Probably has some Russian or British Blue in him. Squibby would make a wonderful companion. He's SO special.
Adoption details
Once your fur friend is chosen, prospective adopters will fill out an adoption application and arrange a date for us to do a home visit. The purpose of the visit is to make sure that the environment is appropriate and that the animal is the best match for you.
No experience raising a cat no problem. We will help you set up every step of the way and provide on going post adoption support 24/7!
We prefer that our adoption cats and kittens should be indoor animals, with occasional, supervised outside access where appropriate. The reason for this is to minimise the impact on native wildlife and to make it less likely that the animal comes to grief through motor vehicle impact and exposure to FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) through cat fights. Our adoption fee is $200, which is a non-profit amount covering desexing, microchipping, first F3 vaccination, flea and worming treatment and transport.
