About Tucker ~ Staffy X Mastiff (on trial 13/10/19)
This little chunky monkey is Tucker! Tucker is a cute, 10 week old Staffy x Mastiff puppy. He's a big hunk of handsome who adores a cuddle, belly rub and a good wrestle.
After a bit of a rough start, he can be a bit timid and nervous when first meeting new people, but this doesn't last long! He's fantastic with other dogs and loves a bit of rough and tumble with his foster doggo family. Because of this, preference will be given to applicants with a larger breed doggo already living with them :)
Tucker will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
He will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You will need good fencing with no small gaps. Rural fencing (wire) is not suitable.
As Tucker is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle and the Upper Hunter, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information about Tucker, please contact his foster carer Kate at kate.drn@outlook.com . Tucker is in the Maitland area, NSW (near Newcastle). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Tucker's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all of our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
