About Troy ~ Cattle Dog (on trial 10/10/19)
Check out this cutie! Troy is a 12 week old, Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog x puppy. He is a very fun-loving puppy and loves his toys, especially ones which he can chew. His very affectionate toward people.
Troy is currently in foster care with 4 other dogs and gets along well with them and plays and plays.
Troy understands basic commands such as "sit". He would love for his furever family to continue his training as he is a very smart dog and picks things up quickly. He is in the process of being house trained and it's going very well.
Troy will grow up to be a medium to large dog. Due to his eventual size, we recommend older children or children who have experience with larger dogs.
Troy would love to go to a furever home where he has another dog to keep him company although this is not essential, as long as he has toys to play with and is allowed inside.
Troy doesn't mind spending some time outside during the day but needs to be welcome inside when people are home and to sleep inside at night, at least until he's fully grown. He will need a secure yard with high fencing.
Troy will be a wonderful addition to a loving family.
As Troy is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 6 months old.
To apply to meet Troy, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt. If you have any questions please contact his foster carer Amy by sending an email to amyeh34@hotmail.com. Troy is in foster care near Kurri Kurri, NSW (west of Newcastle).
Troy's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and microchipping.
