About Chico - foster carer needed
***PLEASE READ FULL PROFILE CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING. IF YOU FEEL YOU ARE THE PERFECT MATCH PLEASE FILL IN APPLICATION ON THE LINK AT THE END OF THE PROFILE **
Chico is a 1 yr old deaf girl is looking for a foster home that is committed and willing to give her the guidance she needs.
She can be placed with a cat if introduced slowly.
Chico is deaf and has a minor allergy to grass. She is super affectionate and snuggles her nose into you for comfort. She eats well and enjoys playing a game of ‘tug of war’ with her plastic rings (these can come with her). She sleeps in a crate happily at night for up to eight hours. She barks to be let outside. She has only had one small accident inside. She is very excitable first thing in the mornings and will bark to indicate she wants to play.
She is ok with dogs outside
The home- Chico will jump on the back of dogs and poke them with her nose to show them she wants to play. She can nip at their flanks also. She barks loudly at other dogs at close range to show them she wants to play. She is still unsure on walks and often plants her feet and refuses to walk. She travels well in the car but may bark at passing vehicles. She passes the day searching for hidden treats in the backyard and sleeping in the sun. She happily sits in a dog bed or on a mat when inside the house.
She would benefit from being in a home where people are around most of the time. She would devote herself to her new family. She is a hilarious goof ball who is lots of fun. She would benefit from an inside/outside lifestyle.
If you feel you are able to provide what she needs, love, mental stimulation/enrichment and exercise please fill in the application below.
