About Cara
When lovely Cara is happy to see you (which is often), she wags her whole body, because her tail just isn’t enough!
Cara is settled happily into a foster home with two foster greyhound sisters, and a foster kitty (with whom she is doing very well, though we suspect she would like to chase a less confident cat). At just shy of three years old, Cara is still a young dog, and she does love a play. Whilst like most greyhounds, she sleeps A LOT, she is active for her breed, and she would be best with a 40-45 minute walk, or a couple of shorter walks each day. She’s wonderful on lead – she’s very calm and doesn’t pull at all, so walking her is a dream.
As she can be bouncy, Cara would best in a home with no young children. She would very much like a canine brother or sister, though!
Cara loves cuddles, soft toys and sneaking into her foster mum’s bed at night. If Cara sounds like the girl for you, please let us know.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. When responding to this post, please tell us:
• A bit about yourself, including your work patterns and the number of hours the dog will be left alone each day
• About the people and pets you share your life with.
• The type and size of your residence / yard (is it securely fenced?)
• Anything else you think will help us find the perfect dog for you
