About Amelia
Amelia is a fun loving playful girl that loves being around people of all ages and loves to play or just hang with you. She loves cuddles and pats and soft toys to play with. She is toilet trained and is doing well on a lead around the yard. She can sit and is doing well with shaking hands but still working on stay. She is good with her food and not fussy. We do not have any other animals so not too sure on that side of it.
When Amelia first came into care, she was a little timid and she seemed to be a bit scared of people. After some love and attention by her foster carers, she has come in leaps and bounds and is full of energy and likes to run and jump around the yard and likes to play with soft toys and loves chewing on big bones. She is good with the children of all ages in her foster home (3 years, 7 years and 16 years).
Amelia is pretty well toilet trained as long as she is not locked inside for too long. A normal night for her inside is for about 7 hours from last toilet run outside to first one in the morning.
Amelia can sit and she can shake hands but she is still working on stay. She is going well with walking around the yard on a lead. She is best walked on a harness as she is growing fast and this will allow for better control.
Amelia loves being around people and does get excited when you're outside with her and she will follow you around and loves a pat and likes getting brushed with her brush.
Amelia is located in Morayfield, QLD.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. To meet, adopt or find out more details on this animal, please fill in our adoption application at our website- http://www.safehavenanimalrescueinc.com Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
2. Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend bringing your current dog/cat as this may stress the feline out.
3. The animal cannot be taken on the day unless prior arranged (over 2 hr round trip), and the adoption agreement and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. Once collected, the 10 day settling period begins, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care into a suitable foster home. The adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after this trial period there will be no refund made.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork, including the Change of Microchip Details form, is sent via email.
We endeavour to respond to your email within 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
