About Oreo DB501
Meet Oreo!!
Oreo is loving life and has such a happy go lucky attitude to all the new things he is experiencing.
He has energy to burn and since coming into foster care has been meeting all types of new dogs who are fast becoming his friends. Oreo is quite the gentleman around other dogs and very respectful of their boundaries when they tell him to calm down.
Oreo loves to run around and adores all his toys.
He is a fast learner and just wants to please his people. He's proven to snooze the day away while his foster mum has been at work, as long as he gets a walk and a big cuddle when you get home! He is still young and when he gets excited can jump up to kiss you, however he is learning quickly that this isn't always OK to do.
Oreo has lived with a large female dog in his previous home but is chilling by himself in his current foster home, however he has met his foster Mum's dog at her parent's house and they got along really well. He has also ignored cats he has met even when they had a swipe at him! He just got up, moved away and went back to sleep.
This gorgeous boy has lived with kids and absolutely adores them - he's always keen for someone to chill with him on the couch or run around in the garden with him.
When Oreo first came into the rescue he was a bit of a doofus on the lead but is learning extremely quickly that he will still get to sniff that tree in the distance if he doesn't pull his foster carer along and he loves going on long lead to let off some steam at the end of a long day.
If you’re looking for a big, friendly sook, who loves food and can keep up with the littlies, Oreo could be the one for you!
