About Billie
This sweet little Kelpie’s end was nigh, had a Good Samaritan not rescued her for us. Deemed a “useless” working dog, she was worthless to the owner and he wanted her gone.
Billie was a wonderful mum who took great care of her babies, but now her mothering duties are over forever and homes are in the pipeline for her beautiful puppies, she is looking for a second chance at life herself - a new home and family.
Billie is a small kelpie and isn’t hugely active. She’s a good girl with other dogs and is starting to become playful with them. Billie is friendly towards the people she’s met so far, she travels well in the car and though technically not house trained, she is very clean in her pen in the kennels and waits to go out to toilet on the grass. She’s a pretty little girl, with a lovely glossy coat.
Billie wasn’t particularly interested in smiling for the camera because she could hear her puppies in the van waiting for their turn to be photographed. They weren’t quite weaned at that stage so she was very concerned about them. Her boobies have shrunken a lot in the last week, now the puppies are weaned and will eventually all but disappear.
Billie’s in care at Moree, NSW. Enquiries to Denise on 0429 457 558.
Moree has daily flights to Sydney and further afield.
Dogmovers is a commercial dog transport company that comes through each week, southbound one week, northbound the next.
