About Zia ~ Dingo x puppy ~ Adopted 14/12/19
Introducing Zia a stunning 4 month old male Dingo x Cattle Dog x Staffy puppy. With his plush, orange coat he is the most dingo-looking of all his siblings. This boy is quiet and highly intelligent with devishly handsome good looks and a shy personality that matches his super-model appearance.
Zia is a relatively relaxed pup who likes to contemplate life at times. He is confident and playful with other dogs and he tends to be the boss of his siblings by keeping them in line at times. He would best suit a home with a confident adult dog who won’t respond to Zia’s occasional bossiness.
Zia is timid with new people at first and then affectionate once you are familiar and he trusts you. His ideal home is with a very dog-savvy family who will focus on his continued training and socialisation. Knowledge or previous experience with the Dingo breed (or arctics) would be advantageous. He is best suited to a home with no cats, small dogs, birds or pocket pets and good fencing.
Zia is a quick learner - he is toilet trained providing he has access to take himself outdoors. He would love a home with an open door policy so that he can come in and out the house as he needs. He is crate trained and is very happy sleeping in a crate overnight.
Once bigger he’d love a daily walk or run with his new family. Due to his timid nature, ongoing socialisation with other people and dogs is high on his list of requirements - this will help him to grow into a confident and well-rounded adult dog.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
