Buttercup

Hi! I'm Buttercup, also known as the cuddliest kitty in the world!

If there's a vacant lap available, you can bet that I'll jump on and enjoy some snuggle
time! Although I don't mind a little bit of time to myself, I'd really love to follow you
around or have you carry me as I flop onto your shoulder for a ride, or even just sit near
you on a cosy blanket while you work.

I can be a little bit shy when I go to new places, but if you give me lots of reassurance,
and of course plenty of cuddles, I will get settled in, in no time and show off more of my
bright and cheerful personality to you every day!

I don't mind other cats, but I sure would love to have you all to myself. I am living with another cat right now and for some reason she hasn't warmed to me, despite my attempts at playing with her! I don't like to be left alone a lot, so if you have a friendly cat who likes to play and snuggle, that's fine, as long as they want to be friends!! I'm not familiar with dogs yet, but I guess if they're friendly too, that might be ok.

I don't mean to brag but my foster humans think that I'm just adorable, well that's what
they always tell me. They seem to really love it when I make little trill sounds at them,
and lick them on the end of their nose or on their hands. I do snore a little bit
sometimes, but they think that's adorable too! They also make a big deal out of my tail
because it curls back over my body when I run and they're always shrieking "Oh my
goodness, that's just the cutest!" I think they're a bit obsessed with me... Once I get to
know you, I'll flop down and show you my belly so you can give it a good rub.
Sometimes I'll turn a belly rub into a wrestle, but I like to play gently so you don't have to
worry about me being too rough.

If you have a good window for me to sit in and watch the birds and the passers-by, I will
be ever so happy! Or if you don't mind if I nuzzle into bed with you while you sleep, I'll
keep you safe and warm all night long! I'd make the best cuddle buddy for someone
who has a quiet home with not too many people in it, especially if you are home a lot
and have lots of time to snuggle and play with me, that would be THE BEST!!
So that's me! Maybe we could be best friends?! Did I mention that I love cuddles?
