Hi there I am the beautiful Wendy,

I arrived at the shelter when I got lost and sadly my owner never came looking for me, so I am now in search of my forever family.

I am a gorgeous & lovable chunky monkey.

I am very people orientated and love to play and interact with my humans.

I am very clever and know how to sit on command! I love my food and am eager to please you so any extra training should be a breeze.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the water! I am hoping that my new family takes me for lots of trips to the beach/river so I can frolic to my hearts content. Pouncing about with the hose and sprinkler are just as fun too.

Being a ball of chunky muscle I can pull like a bit of a steam train on the lead. I will benefit from being walked in a front leading harness or halti to help slow me down and smell the roses.

I am a young and fit gal so will require daily walks and playtime to keep me happy and healthy.

It is obvious that I haven't had much socialization or training outside of the backyard in my previous home. I can sometimes be a little nervous in new situations and will look to my handler for reassurance. I can also be quiet jumpy when excited and during play so my new family must continue on with my socialization and training so that I become the best girl that I can!

I am ok walking past and seeing other dogs however I am not very fond of interacting with them, I will be best suited as an only dog with further socialization with them outside of the home so that I learn how to play and be in their company.

I was scared of cats when meeting them, however I was intrigued after a while so may like to chase once confident enough around them.

I would love a home where I am allowed inside and outside with a secure yard with no holes or gaps so that I am always safe and sound at home.
