About Kit Kat and Leeroy
*NO INTERSTATE ADOPTION
*NO OTHER DOGS
Kit Kat (female) and Leroy (Male) are a pair of smooth coat JR mixes, affectionately known as the Giant Jacks and aged 2 yrs
They have come to us from a pound, we are unsure of their mix and their history but they are now looking for a new home together.
They are both very timid dogs, although Leroy is the more outgoing and does shelter his sister from anything he thinks is scary.
They are good together, although Leroy is first in everything they do, pats, treats and walking out of the kennel and has shown some lack of tolerance to other dogs, mainly in fear.
They are both large dogs and can be strong so will need fit and willing new owners to help gain their confidence.
They are both now walking on lead, and when they are out walking and away from the kennels is when they appear to be most confident. They really seem to enjoy a walk.
We have decided the kennel environment is not helping them to gain confidence and they would be better meeting people and having the chance to find a new home
They will need people experienced with large dogs as well as rescue dogs, fit and willing to guide them, with a yard big enough for the two of them with secure fencing.
A family who is patient and kind, understanding that it really is going to be a slow process to gain their trust, without young kids/grandkids and other dogs that visit.
They will not be the type of dogs you can take to an off leash dog area and will need to be on lead at all times.
They come desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and heartworm tested for $800
If you would like to meet them, please contact Jill on 0408491542 and they are staying at Londonderry NSW
If you would like to donate to us please contact us directly at jrtrescue@pnc.com.au and in that way you know we will receive it.
