About Nana ~ Tabby Cat (on trial 23/10/19)
Meet Nana! Nana is a beautiful 1 year old tabby cat who loves snuggles. Nana was dumped heavily pregnant and starving in a hospital car park. She went straight to the emergency room (smart girl) and the lovely staff at the hospital arranged for her to come into care so she could have her babies in a safe, warm and clean environment.
Nana is such a fantastic mum to her ‘Peter Pan Litter’ (hence her name) but she definitely prioritises pats and food over anything. She is full of personality and is very talkative when she wants affection or dinner! The vets believe this little girl is around 1 year old so still just a baby herself. We don’t know what sort of start to life she had but she hasn’t let anything from her past affect her.
Nana is definitely not a timid cat so loud noises don’t faze her. She would be fine in a family environment with loud noises and just as fine in a quiet home with a lap to sleep on. Nana currently lives in a foster home with two other cats and a large dog. She isn’t particularly fond of any of them and definitely holds her ground with them all but we understand this is out of protectiveness of her babies. She seemed fine with the cats in the two weeks before she gave birth so we believe with a slow introduction she could be rehomed with another cat, or even better, with one of her babies.
Nana will be available for adoption for to an indoor-only home from the 11th October and her adoption fee is $200. This little girl will make someone very happy. For more information or to meet Nana please contact her foster carer Sarah on sarahkdebenham@gmail.com . Nana is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW. All her vet work will be done and includes desexing, microchip, vaccinations and worm & flea treatment. (2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
