About Duncan
OMG OMG OMG This post is about meeeeeeeee!
Hi, my name is Duncan and yep this is going to be all about me!!! My foster mum says my name should be Captain Needypants - I loooooooove my humans – I love being with them 24/7 I Love snoozing on the couch with my humans, I love sleeping on the bed with my humans, I love car rides with my humans – I’m even happy to follow you into the toilet if your keen!
So I have a thing called separation anxiety – but the rescue is working with the vets on some light medication for me to help me be calm when you go out. (I am happy to stay in the house while your gone but have been known to damage a fly screen accidentally – so if you have crim safe or a glass door that can be closed – I’m perfect!!
I am great with kids – who wouldn’t love kids – it means they give me cuddles (helloooooooo perfect for me!) I am very wary of cats – so I am happy to live in the same house with but I will be very respectful of them.
I am happy with other dogs or without – and I would definitely prefer my size as I can be a drama queen when bigger dogs look at me from 5kms away – my foster mum says that when I’m seriously Captain Needypants. Small dogs my size don’t bother me.
I am toilet trained as I use to previously live in an apartment but will need to be able to access outside to go – I am very good at going thru a cat flap!
I love food and will happily be your lifetime companion!
Medical notes
Duncan is on a light dose of medication to help his separation anxiety.

If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
