About Leo
Leo was surrendered by his previous owners because they couldn’t look after him any more.
He’s a happy chappie, friendly, loyal and very easy to get along with, has good basic manners and excellent socialisation skills ie. he happily runs around and plays with up to 8 or 10 dogs at a time in my garden including small yappy ones.
Some of his other good points are, he doesn’t bother stock, travels well in the car, doesn’t have anxiety issues, isn’t a digger or nuisance barker and only has moderate exercise requirements.
Leo would happily accompany his new family on whatever pursuits they are involved in. He would love a doggie companion if his owners are at work a lot.
He has a stumpy half length tail.
There’s a theory that black dogs are more difficult to find homes for than other colours. Hopefully it’s a myth and lovely boy Leo will get a second chance at life.
Leo is in care with us at Moree, NSW. Enquiries to Denise on 0429 457 558.
Moree has an excellent and reasonably priced dog road transportation service that picks up in Moree each fortnight, going north one week and south the next. Alternatively flights out of Moree are also available.
Medical notes
Vet checked, no medical problems noted.
