About Lucy
Lovely little Lucy is looking for a home where she will be loved and doted on.
Lucy is extremely sweet and after she has had some time to settle in and feel safe in her new home, she will share all her love and attention with her special humans.
We have no information about Lucy's past but while she has been with us, she has been living with other dogs and teenage children. She has happily enjoyed the company of everyone she is sharing her home with.
A MALE doggy pal of similar age, size and breed would be the perfect companion for Lucy to help her feel comfortable in her new home. She prefers to follow others rather than to lead the way so a confident little pal will be a great way to help her feel at home and offer her loads of company while her people are out of the house. She does not like to be left alone!
Lucy will enjoy regular walks to help her stay social and help her maintain a healthy weight. She can be a little shy at first but seems to relax quickly. Being aware of her emotions and letting her take on new things in her own time will be important to help her gain trust in her new family.
Considering Lucy is only small, she prefers a calmer lifestyle and will be at her happiest in a home with no young children/grandchildren. She has not been tested with small animals so will only be suited to a home with another dog. A home with pocket pets or cats will not be considered.
A home where Lucy is allowed to spend time indoors and sleep inside overnight will be essential. She enjoys the security of an indoor lifestyle so we will be looking for a hoe who are willing to offer her these comforts.
Lucy is toilet trained but may need the occasional reminder until she has adjusted to her new lifestyle and routine.
If you believe you have the right home for Lucy, please send us an enquiry and we will be in touch shortly.
Currently in care in Dandenong North.
Medical notes
We are unsure if Lucy's has been heartworm treated in the past. A veterinary check up will be needed before heartworm treatment is given.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
