Rani

Little Rani was found as a neglected 8 week old puppy in Broome. She was covered in ringworm and sores which have now healed but have left her with "" spots"" on fur. They will eventually grow out but add to her gorgeous looks. She is a small to medium breed cross with a stumpy tale that wags her whole body when she is happy - which is all the time. She has the most beautiful personality, inquisitive and so cuddly. You will never get cuddles like this from anywhere else! She is a perfect companion dog in a home that includes another gentle dog or children. She is still a puppy and will require training but already sits, comes to her name and walks on a lead. Rani means princess and she is gorgeous!!!!

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me "no" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.

It's always hard to know with rescue pups and mixed breed pups exactly how big they'll grow to, so SAFE estimates our eventual size. They're pretty good at it!
