ABOUT RUBY

Ruby came into Little Legs' care after her owner's circumstances changed and they weren't able to keep up with her active lifestyle. She previously lived in a home with another small dog and children.

Hi my name is Ruby and I love long walks in the park, belly rubs and playing with my toy ballerina bear. I enjoy going outside and running around, but I am also very happy to just hangout on the couch as long as I'm near my person. I'm super cuddly and will tell you when I want pats. My current foster carers are always calling me silly and laughing when I do funny stuff. I can't wait to find my forever home with a loving, active family that will let me snuggle up with them!

Sometimes, Ruby gets very excited when her leash gets put on and she pees a little, but is otherwise house trained. She knows commands such as sit, come and leave it. She is still learning about walking on a leash, but does well. Ruby can also be let off her leash in public places and will stay right next to you and won't wander out of your sight.

She would do well with a family/person that spends a majority of their time at home and is able to take her out on walks and give her lots of attention in a house with a backyard that she has access to and can explore.
