About Taz
Hi there my name is tornado Taz. I was surrendered to the shelter by my owner and now I'm on the lookout for my new very active family.
I need to go to a home who is experienced with owning Kelpies. I need a lot of training and being a very active working dog my brain needs to be busy constantly.
I have done a little bit of working with cattle but not much so not sure if I'm too old to learn this as this would keep me fit and healthy.
I was attacked by another dog several years ago so I don't like other doggies coming near me as I get scared and all defensive. I would love for my new owner to help me overcome my fear so I can learn to love my doggie friends again.
I have been in a home with 3 kids but I can be quiet jumpy, so if there are little ones at my new home they must be used to crazy, full on dogs like me jumping all over them.
I do get anxious left alone but I do settle after awhile, but it would be great if I could go to work with my new owner, then we can bond and have lots of fun together.
I seem scared of cats and other animals around the shelter so I'm not sure how I would go in a home with cats.
I do like the tennis ball my previous owner said but here at the shelter I'm a little stressed and I don't want to play yet.
