About Charli
Charli is a typical heeler and a loving companion. She would like to be the only animal in her new home and will happily provide you with as much " dogtime" as you can handle. She is happy to have children around and doesn't chase or show herding behaviour with them, especially if they love to give her pats. She loves pats!
She's a good girl in the house, is house trained and knows to lie on her bed, although she would happily be on the couch right next to you if you want her to ;)
Charli is good to walk on the lead but needs someone experienced enough to make sure she follows the rules and ideally one who understands the heeler breed. With an experienced handler she happily trots along and won't pull. She has great recall and loves to play with her ball so off lead time is great fun but she doesn't like it if another dog tries to interfere. Typical heeler!
Charli is ok with other dogs that don't hassle her and is especially good with small dogs. She is also ok with chooks and has guarded them from foxes in her foster home.
Charli will be a loyal and devoted companion to a dog devoted person or family.
