About Sam
This big smiley boy is just delightful!
Since coming into care, he's shown himself to be a willing and happy learner, and just wants to be a good boy!
He has a ball at the dog park, and is always nice to every dog he meets. He just loves a run and play, but always keeps an eye on his foster mum, regularly running back to her to check in.
Sammy adores going in the car, and is also excellent on lead. Which is lucky, as he's a big boy, around 35kgs. This boy is just a big pup at heart, always happy and waggy.
He has learned to wait at doorways and to not jump up. He will need a family to keep him on his polite path, but he's a good student!
Sammy is excellent with children, as he doesn't have a mean bone in his big body. As he's such a big boy, a home with older children would suit him best, as he will match the excitement level around him. There's lots of love here!
Sammy has been living with cats, he's way too interested in one of them, so a home without them would suit him best.
As he's still a pup at heart, Sammy will also need a doggy friend for company as he gets scared when he's home alone. He will make a wonderful addition to a home who loves big grinning goofballs!
Medical notes
Sammy is in perfect health. He is fully vetted and although slightly too chubby he is a fine canine specimen!
