About Poppy
Located in Canberra and nearly 4 months old. Poppy is wonderful with my two children. She has a beautiful sweet (and sometimes sooky) nature. She is very playful and is learning to fetch, sit, walk on a lead and to be housetrained.
She can be a little timid at first but then loves cuddling up and sitting on laps. She will often come to work with me and sit at the desk.
I expect her to get to a reasonable size – so would suit someone with a yard or the ability to go walking daily.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made.
5. Adoption transaction completed.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
