Jewel ~ Cattle Dog X Kelpie (on trial 13/9/19)

Jewel is an 8 week old, female, Cattle Dog x Kelpie puppy. She is a happy little girl who loves playing with her siblings and cuddling with her foster parents.

Jewel came into care with an eye condition that is currently being treated. We are yet to determine if she will lose sight in her eye permanently and she may need ongoing treatment in the form if drops. Her new family would need to be prepared to take that on. Otherwise she is a happy healthy pup!

Jewel has been raised in a home environment. She has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Jewel will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

Jewel will need a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate as she would be too lonely on her own. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.

Jewel needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

As Jewel is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.

Jewel's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.
