About Kath
Kath is an 18 month old kelpie cross.
She is an energetic dog but loves to sit quietly with her peeps too. Kath is sociable and happy to meet new doggo friends. She hasn't had much experience with cats but tends to be inquisitive. People are really her thing - she loves hanging out with adults, children or anyone.
She adores ear rubs and tummy rubs but prefers not to be brushed too much.
Kath has hip dysplaisia. Even with this condition she is active and mobile. Kath has had regular medications and takes these easily. Kath adores going for a daily walk and this is one of the best ways to support her muscles for her hip dysplaisia. She is great on a leash.
Kath is a very intelligent dog. She plays fetch and sometimes even returns the ball. She is a water lover who loves the beach, hose or even a deep water bowl. Kath has experience living in a pack of three doggos and four humans. Her ideal family would have older children who would understand her condition and adults who were committed to giving her love and affection.
Kath is located in Caboolture, QLD.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. To meet, adopt or find out more details on this animal, please fill in our adoption application at our website- http://www.safehavenanimalrescueinc.com Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
2. Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend bringing your current dog/cat as this may stress the feline out.
3. The animal cannot be taken on the day unless prior arranged (over 2 hr round trip), and the adoption agreement and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. Once collected, the 10 day settling period begins, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care into a suitable foster home. The adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after this trial period there will be no refund made.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork, including the Change of Microchip Details form, is sent via email.
We endeavour to respond to your email within 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
