Obie is a great dog, smart (in some cases too smart) loyal, strong, playful, great with kids, easy going and relaxed.

Obie needs a home where he can go for long walks, as he is a high energy dog.

He is fine with other large dogs, but interactions must be supervised and begin with a slow introduction.

Obie is not suitable around small dogs or cats.

Obie is a large dog who has been muzzled trained, not because of aggression, but just as a precaution, to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the time out walking.

He would best suit a small family, preferably on a large property, but he is also good with smaller yards as he is happy to relax and sleep in the yard as long as he gets his walks.
