About Luna Rae
Beautiful Luna Rae is a white shepherd. She is only 9 months old, and full of puppy energy. But she is so full of love and absolutely loves her human companions. She is absolutely beautiful and makes heads turn. But there are things that you must consider if you are wanting to apply for her adoption.
Firstly, she is a puppy. So she does most things puppies do. She is still learning her manners. So she still will jump up onto you to show you how much she loves you. So small children would not be appropriate. I have a 9 and 11 year old, and they are fine. But she is already a large dog and would definitely bowl over little ones.
She also gets hysterically excited when she sees other animals. She would probably suit a home with no small animals. She is extremely excited by them, and wants to chase them. She is great with dogs of a similar size. She loves to play with them.
She has boundless energy, so she definately needs lots of exercise. We would like her to find a home where there is space for her to run. She would benefit from being on a little land! But it would have to be properly secured, as she has a tendancy to take herself on little adventures! She is ok left outside. But she really needs a home where she is not left home alone for extended hours every day. We are looking for a family that wants an inside dog. She loves being a part of the family. She is not happy left alone all day outside. She needs to be with her pack. She is quite well behaved inside the house. The only issue is her over excitement with other animals. But if there are no other animals, she would be fine. She sleeps like a baby all night in our bedroom. She is exhausted by bedtime. She can barely keep her eyes open. Typical puppy!
She is still learning how to walk on a lead. She pulls hard when she sees another animal.
She is toilet trained.
She really would benefit from training. She is extremely intelligent, and will eventually be the most wonderful dog. Just in the last 2 weeks she has learnt to sit, drop and stay. See video. She has amazing potential. This is a truely special dog.
