Macey 🌟

Introducing Macey, 1 of 7 in our ‘Mixed Breed’ litter....This girl is a cuddle bug, playful and super cute 💕

She is currently in care with 1 of her siblings, Gracie and has 2 host dogs, 1 host cat and young children. Although she loves to rumble with her sibling, she is quite a chilled and easy going girl. Macey is not impressed with the host cats in her foster home and is a little vocal when around them, but with ongoing exposure, she would learn to co-exist with them. This sweet natured little girl is fantastic with young children who are respectful of animals and she loves to snuggle with her humans.

Macey is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night, curled up with her sister. She is doing well with her toilet training and with ongoing training, will have that perfected in no time.

We would love to see Macey find a home where she had the company and guidance of another dog, but she would also cope quite well as an only dog as long as she had the company of her humans. She will need plenty of socialisation as a pup and into adolescence, as well as training, so she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised adult.

At this stage, we think Macey will be a medium or slightly bigger size when fully grown, so you would need to be prepared for this. Once the results of the DNA test come through, this should give us a better indication. She will need a medium to large size yard and a home where she will be treated as part of the family 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧🐕🐕

As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Macey will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl.

We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.

Macey is booked in for Desex on Friday 6th September and will be available to take home once she recovers (within a few days). She is located in Gwandalan on the Central Coast NSW.
