Hi, I'm Sadie! I'm a sweet young pup looking for the perfect family to call my own. I travelled with a sibling all the way from York, we arrived at the shelter very skinny and very scared. The lovely team here have been doing their best to make me feel more comfortable here and helping me build my confidence but it's best that I get into my new home ASAP so I can settle in and get used to my new life. I have lived a pretty sheltered life and haven't been properly prepared for the "real world". My new family will need to take things very slow and understand that I would not cope well being rushed into any situations that make me feel uncomfortable. I will need time to bond with my family before going to new places or being exposed to scary/new environments. I'm a social gal that can be very sooky at times, I can come across as a little conflicted because I know I want attention but I'm just scared to ask for it. I would love it if my new family helped build my confidence and showed me my full potential. I'm so eager to learn and am easily trained with treats - this will be a great way for us to bond together. I would be best suited to live in a home without children as I'm still very timid. I could however live with another social, older male dog pending a meet. I will be a loyal companion I can promise you that. I really just need a quiet, gentle and calm family that will be patient with me.
