Meet the beautiful Raff

Pick up your socks and pack away your slippers, because Raffi loves a treasure hunt and these are some of his favourite things! Playful, loving and protective, this big boy will keep you company on a walk, during a run or in the garden. He’ll follow you around the house and snuggle on the couch if you let him, but he's also good at sitting on his bed when he's inside at night, in fact you'll have trouble getting him to leave his bed the next morning!
When Raff finally agrees to venture out into a cold Melbourne morning, he happily plays with his foster sister all day. He will let you know if someone walks past your front yard but he does not cry or bark unnecessarily. If you do not want to be alerted to passersby, Raffi will need a medium to large back yard with the space to run and another dog for company.
Raffi walks well on the lead and loves socialising with other dogs, however he does have a prey drive is not suited to the company small animals, including dogs. He would be happiest living with a med-large, playful, female dog, and humans that take him out with them to explore the world. He loves to go on adventures to the park and the farmers market and he enjoys meeting new people.
Raffi is a fast learner, highly food motivated and responds well to training. He knows how to sit, come when he is called and he is largely housetrained. We recommend that any children living with Raffi are familiar with large breed dogs as he is still a puppy and will occassionally jump up when excited. He has not been tested with cats.
An owner committed to training Raffi will find he makes a well-behaved, devoted and loving companion and playmate.
